1. Who we are

2. The service

Lautus analyses the recordings you upload or import, suggests moments, and produces framed, captioned and edited vertical clips that you review, change and download. Suggestions are generated automatically, partly by AI: review every clip before you publish it.

3. Your account

You sign in with your email address and a password, or with your Google account. You are responsible for the activity on your account and must tell us about any unauthorised use.

4. Plans, payment and cancellation

• Plans are monthly subscriptions paid through Stripe, our payment provider, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Each plan includes a number of exported clips per month; finding and reviewing moments is included, only exports count.
• You can cancel at any time from "Manage my subscription"; access stays open until the end of the paid period.
• A monthly period that has started is not refunded, except where the law requires it.
• If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have 14 days after subscribing to withdraw by writing to support@lautus.ai. By asking for the service to start straight away, you agree to pay for what you used until then; we refund the rest.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of your videos and your clips. You give us the right to store and process them only to provide the service to you.

You confirm you hold the rights needed for what you upload, including the people filmed and the music. Music added by Lautus is not licensed for publishing unless stated otherwise.

6. Acceptable use

• No illegal, hateful or violent content, no sexual content involving minors, nothing that infringes other people's rights.
• No attempts to get around the service's limits, to reach other customers' data or to disrupt our systems.

7. Availability

We do our best to keep Lautus available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted service. After a quiet period, video processing can take a few extra minutes to begin.

8. Liability

Lautus is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses (lost revenue, audience or data), and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for gross negligence or fraud, or your rights as a consumer.

9. Ending the service

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. When your subscription ends, your projects are kept as our privacy policy describes; you can ask for their deletion at any time.

10. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, and disputes go to the courts of Ras Al Khaimah. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live and can bring a claim there. We will email you about any important change before it applies.
