Affiliate program terms

1. The program

The Lautus affiliate program is run by LITTLE SOMERSET FZ-LLC. These terms add to the Lautus terms of service. By signing up as an affiliate you accept them.

The program runs on FirstPromoter: that is where you sign up, find your link and code, follow your clicks, sign-ups and commissions, and tell us how to pay you.

2. Joining

Any adult or company can join. You get your referral link as soon as you sign up. We can refuse or close an affiliate account, in particular when these terms are broken.

3. What counts as a referral

• A customer is referred when they create their Lautus account within 30 days of clicking your link, or when they use your code at checkout. A new click on your link starts that window again.
• If the customer clicked several affiliates' links, the last click wins.
• Only new customers count: not an account that already existed or was already subscribed, and not your own account.
• Tracking uses a cookie in the customer's browser. If they block or clear it, the referral may not be recorded, and we cannot assign it afterwards.

4. Commission

• You earn 20% of every subscription payment we receive from a referred customer, for as long as their subscription stays active, including renewals and plan changes.
• The commission is on the amount actually collected, excluding taxes (such as VAT) and after discounts.
• A refunded or disputed payment (chargeback) cancels its commission. If it was already paid, it is deducted from your next commissions.

5. Payouts

• A commission becomes payable 30 days after the customer's payment, the time for a refund or a dispute to arrive.
• We pay once a month, as soon as your payable balance reaches 100 (in US dollars or euros, the customer's currency). Below that, the balance carries over to the next month.
• We pay through one of the methods offered in your affiliate dashboard (for example PayPal or bank transfer). Your bank's or payment provider's fees are yours.
• You are responsible for your taxes and filings. We may ask for an invoice or tax information before paying.

6. What is not allowed

We regularly check where referrals come from and may ask how you promote Lautus. A commission earned by breaking these rules is not owed, and your affiliate account may be closed.

• Any paid advertising (Google, Meta, TikTok and so on) without our written approval, and in particular bidding on keywords containing "Lautus" or its variations.
• Referring yourself or an account you control.
• Spam, unsolicited messages, and coupon or cashback sites.
• Misleading claims about Lautus, or presenting yourself as Lautus or a member of its team.
• Failing to say clearly that your link is an affiliate link, as your country's and the platforms' rules require.

7. Ending

You can leave the program at any time. We can change or end the program, or close an affiliate account, with 30 days' notice by email, except when these terms are broken.

Commissions payable when the program ends are paid out, even below the 100 minimum, unless the account was closed for a breach.

8. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, and disputes go to the courts of Ras Al Khaimah. We will email you about any important change before it applies.
